Just resurrecting this post once again as it no longer sits on the wall in the Canadian forum.

Open house is still from 10:00 am to 2:00 PM and the weather is supposed to be mostly sunny and around 70 F so if you live close enough come on by, we will have lots of gabbing to do I am sure.

The date is Sat, Oct 9th.

Deb was placed in charge of picture taking as I was unsure how mobile I would be. She has them downloaded from her phone but had to work today so stand by for her getting time to upload them somewhere and then here into iBrugs.

It was such great fun meeting Brenda, Paul and Deb and seeing Erikka and Harry again. Of my 9 mature plants, 8 found new homes and my shorter ones and now potted and resting in the GH to dry out and then be moved to the basement for dormant storage. Poor Deb was in awe of how much I chop back plant and root ball. Jeff and Erikka already knew LOL. We missed those who couldn't make it but I am so grateful to have had the help of friends, old and new, this weekend to share my passion with. I learned a lot from them too!! The weather was perfect, sunny and 70.

Hmmmm .... nothing was here! Must of not done something right.  I created a photo album in the Canadian pod.

I want to wish all our Canadian friends a "Happy Thanksgiving".

I want to thank Ruth Ann and Don for taking me into their home while I was there.  What a great time.

I will pull the pics into here and identify the people for Deb. Ckick 2x to enlarge each image please.

I will only tell who the spouse belongs to as I didn't ask them if I could name them and I apologise for forgetting to get a couple of pics with Deb in them.

All names will be given left to right....

Brenda's DH, Erikka's DH, Erikka, Brenda, Ruth Ann's  DH.

Great pics! Wow Ruth Ann, how are you able to grow such beautiful and monstrous brugs with such a short growing season? I need to come up and get some tips.

I created a photo album in the Canadian pod.

Who is the four-legged brug enthusiast pictured in the photo album?

It was so nice to "meet" everyone by photo and see what a wonderful time you all had.

I have to say, that that was one of the most gorgeous days I can remember. I was so pleased that Deb and Brenda took the time to come up for a visit. I learned a lot.

It was really nice to have all the help in digging up the large brugs.

Brug people are so wonderful.... I think I am now more inclined to venture into the US to participate in some of the gatherings - provided my work schedule allows.

I strongly encourage others to not be hesitant; the exchange of info is golden.
