Even when hybridizing Datura you can never be sure of the outcome of your seedlings. This is what my second seedling looks like from our member 'Blicon' hybridizing efforts. This seedling also comes from his "#11" group classification. The bloom is pale yellow with the purple highlights in the ribs and fluted edges, thus far all blooms have been triples.

Just as a reminder, my first seed from this same #11 group of seeds ended up looking like this....

Very nice Ruth Ann. I have given up on trying to keep daturas alive and healthy here in Florida. They do well until we enter our summer rainy season, then the foliage succumbs to leaf spot and other fungal problems. It does not help matters when the blooms are reaching up towards the sky, acting like funnels when the rains come.

    Ruth Ann,
fantastic! My Ballerina is flowerless at the moment - there are too many seedpods on it.
