  • rudy625 RJ,like you,I am trying to breed for fragrance. So my question to you is this; in your experience, which parent do you think passes their fragrance better, the pod parent,or the pollen parent ? Any help from you or any other member would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any opinion from any member. Dan

  • KarenS Freds crosses are beautiful, I have a Rubirosa x Pink Perfection started from seed in 2009. It started to bloom last year and am so excited to see what it does this year. The cuttings are about 1 foot all we need is sun, hopefully soon, tired of the rain in B.C.

    • FredThat cross sounds like it should produce some beautiful blooms for you. Send your rain down to Central Florida and I'll send you some sunshine up. We are in a severe drought down here right now. :(

    • KarenSThanks to you, that cross was from one of your seeds.Sorry to hear about the drought, I cant wait til your online store opens do you know what month? I love all the crosses you do. WOW love your shade cover for your brugs. I bought from you axel and james ( waiting for its first bloom this year), nick and cleopatra,(this plant reached 13 feet in pot) and many more, hope the weather switches for the best for both of us and our brugs. Take care!

    • FredNaughty Nick x Cleopatra has produced several keepers for me. I like Axel Rose because it produces nice yellow seedlings. I lost a couple of Axel Rose seedlings I was planning to keep in the 2010 freeze. My store will open on or before March 1. I expect to have lots of seeds available later this spring too. Stay warm!

    • KenHello everyone. I live way up north and need to grow mine in pots. Not a problem at all because they are worth all the time and effort I put into them. I hpoe to learn from others and maybe even share the litle that I know myself. I've only grown three cultivars and one is about 12 years old now. I added a few new plants this year to my small collection thanks to a web friend and purchades a few too. Please feel free to contact me anytime. Ken G.

  • KOZMO KOZMO Why do we not have a seed bank ? and if we do why is it so hard to find, purchase, etc. I posted where I had lost all my plants from back in 2007, I offered to buy seeds, or cuttings from others but have had no replies, I don't know if someone is mad or I done something, I have belonged to abads when there was on a handful of members. I always considered us bruggers as a family, whereas I don't post a lot I still listen and read when I had questions. I'm still interested in BUYING, I have nothing to trade now, I have donated in the past to the seed bank, I understand that this site is still new, but I still like to start my collection or whatever I can get. Another thing while I'm rambling, I cannot contact anyone I once knew. I don't want to buy from Ebay etc. I also was told I won some seed or cuttings but didn't know how to pay for postage etc. Thxs for letting me vent, I love my flowers that I lost, Maybe you could past this on to other members as I too computer illiterate,,,Thanks KOZMO Bill Niemeyer
