I know we have many Plumeria fanciers here, and this is an opportunity that only comes around once a year for the impossible to find Plumeria Plants live and growing.

Some people here know that I serve on the SCPS, so I can tell you with the inside view that this is one of those great chances to get the real deal. I've gotten burned a couple times myself, and for Plummies that's at a hefty cost and sometimes even longer of a wait than Brugs.

The Annual Flower Show is the best part of the weekend event! This is where you get to see HUNDREDS of different Plumeria blooms up close, personal, and you can sniff to your heart's content!

So, if you're in the SoCal region, I invite you to come to our annual Live Plant sale that is like a trip to Disneyland for Plumeria! This is the big one...It's definitely not one to miss

One of the plummies that I had gotten from another member during the weekend (members only pre-sale) was Plumeria "Maya".

Here's a photo of one fully grown out: http://www.stokestropicals.com/Plum...a-Maya.htm

Question is, did the Plumeria grower use the name because of the Brug, or was the Brug name used because of the Plumeria? LOL
